The Open End Degree Requirement has great flexibility for the student.   Students generally know what courses they want and need for their ministry.   Since all our courses are basic bible courses, we allow the student to choose the courses they want for the degrees, certificates, and diplomas.

There are some guidelines and limitations so the student should carefully study the student handbook.

Students are expected to complete each course they are presently enrolled in, however in rare circumstances a student may need to drop a course.  Students wishing to drop a course must notify AFOL in writing stating the reason for dropping and asking permission to drop the course.

Students adding an additional course must register for the new course before completing the first lesson.

Students are encouraged not to take more than 3 courses at a time.    In some cases, more than 3 courses may be taken with special permission from AFOL.

Students should not add more courses when they have uncompleted courses registered in their student file.
